European Forum
From 3rd July 2008 after dinner to 6 July 2008
The Annual European Shintaido College Forum is a unique opportunity
for Shintaido Instructors, Assistants (and anybody else actively teaching
Shintaido) to get together and learn from each other. If you have not
attended such an event before, the structure is quite unlike any other
Shintaido gasshuku you may have attended.
As we are all instructors or assistants, there are no formal gasshuku
leaders. Anybody is welcome to teach a keiko, or to attend keiko led
by any other instructor of whatever rank. Proposals for keiko are welcome,
either on a theme of your choice, or a theme which reflects the theme
of the gasshuku.
In past years there have been a multitude of keikos to choose from,
allowing each participant to tailor their own gasshuku experience, attending
as much or as little of the gasshuku as they wish.
The Forum will begin with observing the International exams as a study
keiko (mitori geiko).

or above and a duly registered member of the European Shintaido Council
(ESC) or of the Interational Shintaido Federation (ISF)

Indicated prices cover for accomodations and opening/closing keikos.
Prices for workshop keikos are set according to offers and requests
(i.e. 0 € for collegial keiko, 15 € for sempai keiko or 60
€ for Master class).
According to your time of arrival, you might like to take dinner
at the hotel on the 3rd of July (extra 15 euro). Price of the Forum
includes full meals and accommodations until breakfast of the 6th July.
